Students take courses through Distance Learning. We offer two ways - via mail or online via tablet.
Distance Learning Via Mail: Students who take Distance Learning courses either
1) complete online courses or 2) receive coursework through the postal
service. If they choose to receive coursework through the postal service, students work independently on their courses and mail completed assignments to their appointed Genesis Instructor for grading and feedback.
Tablet Learning Platform: Many prisons across the country provide their incarcerated people with personal tablets which have Edovo, a learning platform. Genesis Bible Institute is currently working with Edovo to make the Associate level courses available to interested students. Entry level courses should be available 3rd quarter 2026 and the remaining Associate level courses should be available by 3rd quarter 2027.
