HIS 290: History of the Early Church
An introduction to the beginning of the Christian Church and its growth in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). Special emphasis is given to the role of those who laid down their lives for Christ and the expansion of the church through the Holy Spirit.
HIS 340: Church History 70 AD to 1648 AD
An overview of church history from 70 AD to 1648 AD. This course examines the
individuals and events that shaped Christianity during this period, with special attention given to Martin Luther and John Calvin.
HIS 341: Church History 1648 AD to Present
An overview of church history from 1648 AD to present. This course examines the
individuals and events that shaped Christianity during this period, with special attention given to Jonathan Edwards and Billy Graham.
